Once Tabs+ is installed, there are two things to do before your customers will see tabs on the storefront: enable the app embed in your theme, then add some content.
Enable the Tabs+ app embed
Tabs+ uses a Shopify theme app embed to render tabs on your storefront. You need to switch this on for your live theme.
From the Tabs+ admin home, look for the “Set up Tabs+ on your theme” banner and click Open theme editor. (Alternatively, in your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes, click Customize on your live theme.)
In the theme editor, open the App embeds panel (the icon looks like a puzzle piece in the left sidebar).
Find Tabs+ Setup in the list and toggle it on.
Click Save in the top right.
Why this is required:
The “Tabs+ Setup” embed is what loads the tabs on your product pages. Without it enabled, customers won't see any tabs, even if you've added content in the admin.
Add content to a product
Open Tabs+ from your Shopify admin (it appears under Apps → Tabs+ Product Descriptions).
On the Products tab, pick a product to start with.
Click Add tab in the “Tabs” card.
Give the tab a label (e.g. “Shipping”), pick an icon if you like, and write the content.
Click Publish changes.
Within a few seconds the tab will appear on that product's storefront page.
Preview before going live
Any unpublished work is saved as a draft. To preview a draft on the storefront before publishing:
Open the product in the Tabs+ admin.
Click View → View in Theme editor from the action menu.
The theme editor opens with the product preview, showing your draft tabs.
When you're happy, return to the Tabs+ admin and click Publish changes.
Tweak how tabs look
From the theme editor's App embeds panel, click the Tabs+ Setup entry to expand its settings. From here you can switch between vertical accordion and horizontal tabs, change colours, fonts, animation, and more. See All theme settings explained for a full reference.
Optional - Place tabs in a specific spot on the product page
By default, Tabs+ replaces the existing product description with the tabbed layout. If you'd like tabs to appear somewhere else (for example, below the product images), you can add the Product tabs theme block to your product template in the theme editor. See Theme app extension overview for details.
