The Tabs+ admin lives inside your Shopify admin, under Apps → Tabs+ Product Descriptions. There are three main sections, accessible from the in-app navigation menu.
Products
The home screen of the app. This is a list of every product in your store, with a search box, filters, and bulk actions.
Filters
Tab status - products with tabs vs. without tabs.
Vendor, Product type, Tag, Status - standard Shopify filters.
Shared tab - products that include a particular shared tab.
Missing shared tab - products that don't include a particular shared tab (handy for finding products you've forgotten to apply something to).
Bulk actions
Select multiple products and click Add shared tab to apply a shared tab to all of them at once. See Bulk-applying shared tabs.
Other actions
Import - bulk-load product/variant content from a CSV file.
Export - download a CSV of your product/variant content.
See Importing and exporting via CSV. Import and Export features are available on the Pro plan.
The product detail page
Clicking a product opens its detail page, where you can:
Edit the product's tabs.
Switch between the base product and individual variants in the left-hand list.
For variants, opt in to a custom title and/or custom description.
Save drafts and publish changes.
Open the product in the Shopify admin, theme editor, or live storefront from the View menu.
View revision history (Pro) and revert to an earlier version.
Read more in Editing tabs on a product and Variant titles and descriptions.
Shared tabs
Shared tabs are reusable templates - build a tab once, apply it to many products. Use this section to:
Create a new shared tab.
Edit an existing one (changes propagate to every product using it).
Delete a shared tab (it's removed from every product).
Each shared tab has a label, an optional icon, an optional internal title, content, and a visibility setting (apply automatically to all products, or only when you manually add it).
Settings
The settings page contains:
Subscription - your current plan, change plan, or cancel.
Icons - upload and manage your custom icons (Pro).
Theme - pick a theme and jump straight into the theme editor's App embeds panel to configure Tabs+.
Drafts and publishing
Throughout the app, your changes are saved as drafts first. A draft only goes live on the storefront once you click Publish changes on a product. This lets you make several edits, preview them, and then push them live in one go.
You can discard a draft to revert to the last published version.
Drafts are saved automatically as you type.
Drafts can be previewed in the theme editor - see Getting started for how to preview.
